RemarksThe sea between the marina and Trellis Bay is a world-class windsurfing gorge. Good for windsurfing, difficult for dinghies. The marina's dive shop has a resident instructor.
Local notesTrellis Bay is a settlement in what is described as the "country part" of Tortola, near Beef Island Airport. There is a free ferry between Trellis Bay and Marina Cay. The Cay is known as the setting of Robb White's book 'Our Virgin Island', later a 1950's movie 'Two on the Isle', and has some buildings from his time there.
