Regional Notes

St John is the smallest of the three US Virgin Islands. Its distinguishing feature is its protected Narional Park, making up two thirds of the island's area. The animals native to the Virgin Islands are most likely to be seen on St John: wild donkeys, mongoose, iguanas and smaller lizards.
