RemarksThe marina is in a large bay with a narrow entrance. The Guarda post, where you must report for clearing, is one mile in. The Hotel Jagua, near the marina, can be used for phone calls, car rentals, excursions, taxis and casual supplies etc.
Local notesCienfuegos is a large city. There is a SUMARPO ship's chandlery on the main waterfront road in town. They are on VHF 16, or phone 3845. There are also several dollar stores, and peso-only fruit & vegetable markets. Other peso stores are well stocked, and there are many bars, restaurants and discos.
