Regional Notes

There are many reasons for Treasure Coast's name. The most exciting is that storms still occasionally throw ashore doubloons or pieces of eight from the Spanish treasure fleet wrecked in 1715. The largest city is Fort Pierce; Stuart is a centre for sportfishing tournaments.
