Marinas and Moorings in Panhandle, Florida

Regional Notes

The Florida Panhandle area is "unspoiled, sparsely populated, and just plain beautiful", according to its website. The beaches are "sugar white", the waters "pristine". Visited mainly for its natural beauty, the Panhandle Coast is distinctively different from the natural wilderness of its neighbour Big Bend Coast. It has a chain of barrier islands providing many secluded cruising bays and anchorages. This is north-west Florida, and there are four seasons: it can be chilly between December and February.
